It is recommended for participants to take ferry traveling to and from Discovery Bay as it is the fastest, most comfortable and convenient route from the city centre.

As entry for private vehicles is restricted, private car drivers can park their cars at the open-air car park next to Sunny Bay MTR station, or the car park at Citygate, Tung Chung, and connect to Discovery Bay by shuttle bus. Private car drivers can park their cars at the Rumsey Street Multi-storey Car Park and connect to Discovery Bay by ferry.

Egg Hunt Passes (“the pass”) are available for Discovery Bay residents’ registration from 10am on 21 February 2024, and public registration starts from 10am on 28 February 2024, via the online platform of KKDay. Only participants with valid Egg Hunt Passes will be admitted to the egg hunt game.
Easter Fun Packages bundled with Egg Hunt Passes are also available from Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong. Please contact the hotel’s Reservation Department at tel 2295 8355 for details.
Passes are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Participants will receive Egg Hunt Passes in ePass format within 24 hours upon the completion of registration at KKDay, and will need to present the valid ePass for on-site registration at Admission Zone on the day of the event.
Administration fee for each Egg Hunt Pass is HK$280, a special offer of HK$250 per pass for Discovery Bay Residents during exclusive registration period from 21 February to 25 February 2024.
The egg hunt game on each event day is divided into 4 game sessions with 3 age groups: aged 3-4 (2 sessions), 5-6 and 7-10. Children aged between 3 and 10 are eligible to join the corresponding egg hunt game sessions.
For safety reasons, children aged below 3 are not eligible to participate in the egg hunt game. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry of any participants if there is any doubt.

The organiser encourages each child to participate once only so as to allow more children to enjoy the egg hunt game.
To register up to TWO passes in one single registration, participants must follow the instructions listed on Kkday to complete the registration. If you wish to register more than two passes (whether for the same or different age groups), you have to complete the current registration before starting a new one to register for other passes.
No walk-in passes for the egg hunt game are available on-site on the event days.
Upon the completion of registration process, KKDay will send the pass(es)in ePass format to the participant’s registered email account within 24 hours. Participants must present the e-pass either in printed format or soft copy via mobile devices at the Admission zone located at DB Plaza. We would recommend that participants present printed copies of the ePasses for the sake of easy identification. Once the registration process is completed, information including the selected event date, age group, and game session cannot be amended. Participants may, however, amend the personal data that they have submitted, and contact KKDay at tel 3008 1724(0900-1800hrs) directly on or before 15 March.
Child participants of age group 3–4 can be accompanied by one parent or guardian (aged 18 or above) to enter the egg hunt game zone, with the condition that both child participant and parent/guardian have to wear his/her own grouping wristband and sticker.For other age groups, only child participants are allowed to enter the egg hunt game zone, and parents/guardians have to stay in the designated spectator zone.
Please note that once the registration is made, passes are not transferrable or refundable, and the date and time cannot be changed.
Parents do not need to register an extra Egg Hung Pass. During the event period, parents or family members can stay in the designated area at Egg Hunt Game Zone and DB North Wong-Kam-Po Cycling Funland while some game zones at DB Plaza Inflatable Funland can allow one adult to accompany the child participant. For Groups A & D (age 3-4), an adult (aged 18 or above) is allowed to enter the egg hunt zone and accompany the child participant. For games of other age groups, adults are not allowed to enter the egg hunt zone.

Participant shall arrive at the "Admission Zone" located in DB Plaza 45 minutes prior to the start of the egg hunt game session he/she is registered with, and redeem one Welcome Goodies Bag. Please refer to the on-site registration time specified on the pass.
Shovel sets have been included in the Welcome Goodies Bag for child participants. Parents or guardians are welcome to prepare sunscreen, insect repellent, rain gear, slippers, goggles and clothes for changing, etc. if necessary.
The organiser has prepared a nice shovel set for each child participant. For safety reasons, tools other than the ones provided in the Welcome Goodies Bag are not allowed inside the game zone.
ePass must be presented at the “Admission Zone”. Staff will scan the code on the ePass for verification. Participants can present their ePasses on their mobile devices if they are unable to show the printed ones. We would recommend that participants present printed copies of ePasses for the sake of easy identification.
Foot washing facilities are located on the two sides of Tai Pak Beach. Clear directions are posted at the venue to direct participants to these facilities.
Participants of “Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt on the Beach cum Carnival 2024” are entitled to a “Discovery Bay Easter Carnival” game pass to participate in designated games and activities of “DB Plaza Inflatable Funland” and “DB North Wong-Kam-Po Cycling Funland” on the same day. “DB Plaza Inflatable Funland” and “DB North Wong-Kam-Po Cycling Funland” Game Zone consists of different games suitable for children aged 2-10. Parents or guardians can refer to the age and height requirement for specific games on-site.
Each participant must present a valid Egg Redemption Pass together with the hunted egg(s) to redeem prizes at the "Egg Redemption Zone" within 12:30 to 18:00 on the same day; late redemption will not be accepted. The number and allocation of prizes are designated by the organizer. Participants shall not have any objection to the distribution of prizes and the prizes are not exchangeable. The organizer reserves the right of final decision.
Tai Pak Beach will be partially open for public access during the event period.
